Remembering Jesus

Before the Lord was betrayed over to Rome he met with his disciples and served them bread and wine and commanded them to break the bread – which is analogous to his body – and to keep doing this in his remembrance. In words to the church at Ephesus he commended them on things that they did but ‘was against them’ because they had left their first love. He admonished them to remember from where they had fallen and to repent and do what they had originally been doing. There are many that speak volumes about the ‘Father’ and ‘Daddy’ but without an intimate fellowship with Jesus himself we cannot know or come to the Father. Let us be quick to stay close to our first true love and to ‘Remember Jesus’.
