Philippians

Paul of Tarsus, the man that wrote much of the new testament, did much of that writing from prison and having endured being whipped, beaten, stoned, shipwrecked and stranded, tired, in pain, hungry, cold and thirsty, and all in all – in much danger as he traveled to preach the gospel and establish local churches (2nd Corinthians 11:23-29). The letter to the Philippians contains some of the more often quoted verses in the bible. How is it that the life of the man that is so repeatedly quoted differs so much from the life of the 21st century Christian?
