PRAYER

In Ephesians 6 Paul iterated through six weapons of warfare:

• Belt of Truth
• Breastplate of Righteousness
• Shoes prepared with the Gospel of Peace
• Shield of Faith
• Helmet of Salvation
• Sword of the Spirit

He punctuated this in effect with the seventh weapon of warfare by saying in verse 18:

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Prayer is the key to our persevering in this spiritual war.
